Partnership with Compass Charitable Partners is limited to projects that focus on the following charitable areas: children’s welfare, animal welfare, education, relief to the poor, the promotion of the Christian religion, community improvement, and healthcare services. We welcome all qualifying projects that wish to partner with us to apply. Approvals are made by Compass’s Partnership Review Committee, subject to review of the Partnership Application.
Requirements for Managing Partnership
For Compass to manage a partnership with your project, the following is required:
- A United States mailing address
- A valid email address
- Internet access
Management of your partnership with us will take place primarily through our Partner Portal. Certain communications will be distributed to Partners via email, along with tax-related items via US Postal service. We cannot send physical mail to non-US addresses.
Tax ID Number
All Partners are required to provide a US federal employer ID number (FEIN) if they are organized as a corporation, LLC, or trust. In the case of a sole proprietorship, the Project Manager’s Social Security number will suffice. This is needed so that we may mail a Form 1099-NEC at year end to each Partner for the total amount of any funds distributed to the project from their managed account.
